AustraliaJust realised most of your products are using Sunflower 'SEED OILS'. Essentially an industrial lubricant, def. not food! Thats unfortunately a BIG NO from me.
Hi Kane, The Sunflower oil we use is a high oleic type. This means that it is higher in monounsaturated fats, and lower in the polyunsaturated and saturated fats. The High Oleic version of sunflower oil also has a superior balance of Omega 3’s and 6’s like Olive oil and Macadamia oil. Regular vegetable oils like canola or regular sunflower oil (non High Oleic) have a higher level of Omega 6’s which is less than ideal for general health and inflammation. We have chosen our High Oleic sunflower oil as it is the most healthy and stable when baked and has superior health outcomes to other vegetable oils. We will keep our eyes on the research as it comes out and make the best educated decisions we can on our ingredients in our recipes.
